September 27-29, 2024 - Adult Workshops (18+)
Our Weekend of Workshops provides an opportunity for community adults (18+) to gather with others who share similar interests. This is an opportunity to work along side some of the MRT Board Members and Theatre Specialists learning and refining a theatre-based skill. Sign up for 1 workshop or sign up for them all!
The weekend will conclude on Sunday evening with a Show and Tell! Participants from each workshop gather to share their work onstage at May River Theatre. Models display costumes created in the costume workshop, improvisers perform spontaneously, and auditionees present their pieces.
The stage is illuminated by the lighting design workshop participants, setting the scene for an evening of talent and collaboration. It is a culmination of hard work and dedication, where each participant has the opportunity to shine and celebrate their achievements before an invited audience of friends and family. The final performance is a free event for friends and family starting at 6:45 on Sunday, May 5th.
